L means Lula. L mans livre, libre, liberty, libertad, Liberté. L means BrasiL.

Celso Bessa

The tweet says: "Do you realize that making the "L" sign is becoming an anti-fascist symbol in some countries?" It's a bit early to say this... although the L in Lula is figuratively and literally the L of livre, libre, liberty, libertad, Liberté, etc., it's the L of BrasilL 😜... But it's not too early to get goosebumps about it!

Tweet with a manifestation and the words "Do you realize that making the "L" sign is becoming an anti-fascist symbol in some countries? in Brazilian Portuguese

And if Lula's "L" helps to challenge the term "Liberty" that the right appropriated, just as the left and Brazilian progressivism are challenging and reclaiming the flag, the national team's jersey, the green and yellow that the far right has appropriated, all the better.
